Ingredients

2 cups dates (or mixed dried fruit)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 dessertspoon cocoa
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups dessicated coconut
1 egg, beaten

Method

Preheat oven to 180 C
Mix all dry ingredients, add egg and melted butter. Mix well, then roll small ovals of the mix in more dessicated coconut.
Put on greased tray, bake for about 15 minutes, when they should be golden brown.
