Bangladesh Style Chicken Curry


Description

Many thanks to my colleague from Bangladesh for this tasty, quick and simple curry recipe.

Ingredients

4 tbsp oil of your preference
1 large brown onion, chopped
2 large cloves of garlic, crushed
3 dried red chillies
1tbsp cumin powder
1tbsp chicken curry masala
1tbsp Garam masala
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1tsp ground coriander
1tsp paprika powder
1tsp onion salt powder
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp garlic paste
1tsp ginger paste
Shredded cooked chicken meat ( I used meat from 5 drumsticks)
150 -200 g plain Greek yoghurt, optional

Directions

Heat the oil in the wok or pan.

Add chopped onion, crushed garlic and dried chilies. Fry until soft but not brown.

Add all rest of ingredients and fry them constantly stiring until nice paste will form.

Add the water to your thickeness liking and add the chicken.

Simmer untill nice oily top of oil relesead from the spicies will form.

Ad some Greek yoghurt if desire.

TIPS:
All ingredients could be adjusted to your tolerance to spiciness.
