Hot Mini Sandwiches with Frankfurters & Tomatoes

If you’ve come looking for a frankfurter sandwich then look no further. One day I’ve decided that I wanted to treat myself to a tasty, hot and simple breakfast. I then rummaged through my ingredients and I found bread, frankfurter sausages, cheese, tomatoes and spring onions. All of these ingredients suggested that I make a gourmet dish.. mini sandwiches gourmet! So the idea for mini hot sandwiches got into action and into reality. I made this fairly quickly, baked it and enjoyed it to the max! Perhaps not the most healthy, but certainly the most tasty. I eat plenty of veggies and so on, but this day, I decided to simply treat myself. And why not! This treat will surprise you, your family and your friends. So do try it as a snack, or breakfast. I believe you’ll receive some lovely comments and feelings in return. Good luck and remember, simple works best, which is what this recipe is.

Ingredients

7 slices of organic brown bloomer
4 classic frankfurters
3 organic small tomatoes on the wine
1 cup grated mature cheddar cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
2 stems of spring onios for garnish

Directions

1.Preheat oven gas mark 6.

2. Slice the bloomer. Cut frankfurters into small pieces. Slice the tomatoes and spring onios.

3. Brush both sides of slices with olive oil and bake in the oven just one sodefor 3-4 min until gets crispy.

4. Remove from the oven, top up not baked side of bread, top up with frankfurters, grated cheese, tomatoes and spring onions.

5. Return to the oven and bake until cheese is melted.
