Homemade Pear & Banana Yoghurt


Description

Pear is usually one of the first fruits recommended by doctors because it is so uncommon for allergies and it helps soften the stool. Babies love it because it is so sweet. It is rich in simple sugars and fibber, so it is good for the digestive tract and helps with constipation.

Ingredients

1 cup pear, cored and chopped
1 banana
1/4 cup full fat yoghurt

Directions

Steam the diced pears in a stovetop steamer.

Puree all ingredients in a food processor or blender.

If preparing baby food in bulk freeze the puree into ice-cube trays.
