Description
Carrots are one of the sweetest vegetables and your baby will absolutely love it. When cooked it’s easy to swallow and digest and you can give it to your baby alone or combined with other vegetables or fruits. Carrots are very rich in vitamin A which supports a strong immune system helping to make our little ones grow up nice and strong. Carrots should be very well cooked for babies starting solids, pureed to a very smooth consistency.
Ingredients
2 large carrots (approx 360g)
2 tbsp water/ breast milk/formula
Directions
Peel and cut carrots into small pieces.
Steam the carrot until tender.
Puree the carrot in a food processor, using a little liquid to get the desired smooth consistency (usually 1-2 tbsp).
