Chicken Purée


Description

Great pure to add to your baby's menu for an extra protein and to introduce new flavours. Suitable from 4 months and up.

Ingredients

1 8-ounce boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs, cubed
1 cup chicken stock (I used low sodium)
1 tsp dried parsley

Directions

Instructions
In a medium saucepan, bring the cubed chicken, broth and parsley to a boil over medium heat. Turn heat down to low and simmer, covered, for 15-20 min or until chicken is just cooked through. Let cool slightly.

Transfer all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree until you reach your desired consistency, adding more stock if needed.

TIPS:
Do not want to overcook the chicken here, that will leave it hard and chewy.
You can you can mix it with any fruit, vegetable or combination you want, add extra healthy fat such as organic butter (salt free) added to the blender right before blending.
