First Pear Compote

Ingredients

1kg pears

Directions

Begin by washing and peeling the pears before cutting them into small pieces.

Peel, core and quarter pear. Cut each quarter into 3 smaller pieces.

Gently cook in saucepan with 4 tbsp of water, covered, for 10−12 min, until soft. Stir occasionally.

Cool slightly, then blend with food processor or hand blender until smooth.

Add some of the water or milk if you need.

Pour your compote into your containers, and it’s ready!
