Spagetti Bolognese with Dolmio Sauce


Description

Simple and tasty dish with minimal effort that all family will enjoy.

Ingredients

400 g lean beef or lamb mince
1 large brown onion
1-2 tbsp of oil
2 carrots, diced, optional
Handfull or just a few red kidney beans, optional
Ready made Bolognese sauce
Parmesan cheese for garnish

Or for your own Bolognese sauce:
Can of chopped tomatoes
Chopped onion
Basil or mixed herbs
Generous pinch of freshly cracked pepper

Directions

Put a little bit (1-2tbsp) of oil into a pan and heat until hot. At this point it's sometimes nice to fry some onions to add extra flavour.

Put mince in a pan and and cook until all the meat is completely brown.

Add Bolognese sauce to mince, add sliced carrots and put on a very low flame to simmer for about 20 min. Once added stir regularly. Don't forget to stir.

If you don't have ready made Bolognese sauce, use a can of chopped tomatoes and add chopped onion, basil or mixed herbs, black pepper and other seasoning of your preferences, to taste.

Cook the spaghetti according to the packet instructions.

Serve with grated cheese.

TIPS:
I have added pre-cooked red kidney beans as my family loves them.
