Description
Prepare a large batch of this rub at the start of summer and you're set for the entire season. Steak, chicken, pork, and even a great burger demand the perfect rub to bring out the flavour of meat cooked on the BBQ, preferably over an open flame.
Ingredients
1/3 cup salt
1/3 cup paprika
1/4 cup dried onion flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp chili powder (mild or hot depending on taste)
Directions
1. Blend all ingredients and store until needed.
2. Apply a generous amount to meat at least a couple of hours before cooking.
