Description
Try to make this easy sweet chilli sauce and serve it alongside some spring rolls or fish cakes.
Ingredients
1 red chilli, finely chopped
25ml water
85ml white wine vinegar
175g caster sugar
12g fish sauce
1/2 garlic clove
1 tsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
1 pinch cornflour
1 pinch salt
Directions
1. To make this dip, mix the water and cornflour together to dilute the cornflour. Place all the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
2. Once boiling, whisk in the water and cornflour solution and boil for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from the heat and leave to cool.
3. Serve in small bowls as a dip alongside your favourite Asian dishes.
