Pheasant, Rice and Salad


Description

A delicious fried pheasant with some rice and salad.

Ingredients

A bunch of pheasant cuts (does not matter where from)
Salt
Pepper
Few handfuls of white rice

Salad:
Punnet of radishes
Couple of pickled gherkins
1 leek
2 tbsp sour cream
Salt and pepper

Directions

Start by boiling some rice - add rice to boiling water. Boil for 10 minutes, drain and leave to rest with lid closed (approx another 5-10mins).

Start by frying the pheasant on olive oil on a frying pan on a medium flame.

Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the pheasant whilst frying. Fry until pheasant browns - flip sides every so often not to burn it (depending on size but approx 5 - 10 mins total).

Make salad -
Chop up all salad ingredients and mix - then mix in some sour cream. Add some salt and pepper to your liking.

Add rice, salad and pheasant to plate and serve.
