This strawberry infused gin recipe is one of the tastiest things you can make to sip on during the summer months. Pour over ice and top up with tonic or try it in other gin-based cocktails.

1. Wash, hull and quarter the strawberries

2. Place in a jar with the sugar and gin, close the lid and give it a good shake to start dissolving the sugar.

3. Leave to steep for 2–3 days, shaking each day.

4. Strain through a muslin cloth, then decant the gin into a bottle. Best enjoyed within 1 month of making.
