Chipolatas Wrapped in Streaky Bacon


Description

Simple but delicious pigs in blankets dish makes the perfect accompaniment to your special dinner or roast dinner. Make sure you use streaky bacon, not back bacon, as this will ensure that blankets will stay snugly on the pigs during roasting.

Ingredients

12 chipolatas
12 slices of streaky bacon

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas mark 6.
2. Wrap each sausage in a rasher of bacon and place on a baking tray.
3. Roast in the oven for approximately 20 min, until the bacon is crispy and the chipolatas have cooked through.
4. Serve immediately.
