Description
Nice and tasty pork spare ribs, inspired by cooking classes taken while on holiday in Malacca.
Ingredients
600 g pork or chicken
2 potatoes (cut into bite size pieces)
75 ml cooking oil
1 litre of water
To blend together:
80 g shallot (blended)
80 g garlic (blended)
2 tsp Taucheo (fermented bean paste)
Seasoning:
1/2 dark soy sauce
3 tbs light soy sauce
2 tbs sugar

3 tbs light soy sauce
2 tbs sugar
Directions
1. Heat the oil in the wok, then add the blended Ingredients .Saute over medium heat till fragrant.
2. In a pot with water add pork or chicken, and seasoning and bring to the boil.Cook for 10-15 min or until meat is almost cooked, Then add in potatoes.
3. Transfer to a serving plate and serve with a steamed rice.
