Description
Prepare it in advance and give the bread a final bake just before serving. This toasted garlic bread is completely irresistible and makes a great addition to a bowl of pasta for a midweek dinner or even just a quick snack at lunchtime.
Ingredients
1 baguette
4 garlic cloves, minced
100g of butter, softened
Salt
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas mark 4.
2. Cut the baguette in half lengthwise.
3. Mix the garlic with the butter and a good pinch of salt and spread along the cut side of the baguette.
4. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minuntil the bread is crispy and golden.
