Persimmon, Asian Pear & Fuji Apple Puree


Description

I chose Japanese Persimmons: super sweet and with a firm compact pulp without seeds. Super rich in Vitamin A, C and an excellent source of fibre. Perfect for a baby starting from 6 months.

Ingredients

4 persimmons
2 Korean pears
2 Fuji apples
Zest of 1 lemon

Directions

1. Wash, core and chop the fruit in pieces. Leave the skin.

2. Steam the fruit for 8 min.

3. Place the fruit in a large deep bowl.

4. Add 1/2 cup of the remaining steaming water from the steamer.

5. Add the zest of a lemon.

6. With an immersion blender create a smooth and thick puree.

7. Let your little one enjoy the baby puree either warm or room temperature.

TIPS:
Store the leftovers in the refrigerator for 3 days or in the freezer for 3 months.
